Cookie Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how doerbiplob.site uses cookies and similar technologies. In short: this website uses no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookies set are small technical cookies that WordPress needs to work.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things, such as whether you are logged in or the details you entered in a comment form. Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies); others stay for a set time (persistent cookies).
2. Cookies used on this website
If you’re simply browsing the site, no cookies are normally set. Cookies are only used in the situations below.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
comment_author_{hash}comment_author_email_{hash}comment_author_url_{hash} | Remembers your name, email and website so you don’t have to retype them. Only set if you leave a comment and tick “Save my name, email, and website”. | 1 year | Functional |
wordpress_test_cookie | Checks that your browser accepts cookies on the login page. | Session | Essential |
wordpress_logged_in_{hash}wordpress_sec_{hash} | Keeps the site administrator logged in. Not set for regular visitors. | Session or 14 days | Essential |
wp-settings-{id}wp-settings-time-{id} | Saves dashboard preferences for the site administrator. Not set for regular visitors. | 1 year | Essential |
3. Cookies I do not use
- No Google Analytics or other analytics cookies.
- No Facebook/Meta Pixel, Google Ads or other advertising cookies.
- No cookies that follow you across other websites.
Because only essential and functional cookies are used, the site doesn’t show a cookie consent banner. If I add analytics or marketing tools in the future, I’ll update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
4. Third-party services
- Google Fonts: fonts are loaded from Google’s servers. Google Fonts does not set cookies, but your browser sends your IP address to Google to download the font files. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- WhatsApp: clicking a WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp or its website, which uses its own cookies under WhatsApp’s Cookie Policy.
- Gravatar: profile pictures next to blog comments may be loaded from Gravatar (Automattic).
5. How to control or delete cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking the essential cookies listed above won’t affect normal browsing, but comment details won’t be remembered.
